A Brief Report on BBQ & Boule Event.
Despite the cool and breezy weather 39 adults & 11 children attended the this event, and after a slight hic-up with the Scout Hut BBQ
John Rowland came to the rescue by resurrecting the 'OLD' oil drum BBQ from the bottom of his garden. This drum came courtesy of Alan King
many years ago and saved the day!
Sarah, Florie, Debbie and Sue (Clemow) all reached the final with Florie Solomon emerging as the triumphant Trophy Winner.
Many thanks to all who attended, made salads, helped with the BBQ, and cleared away afterwards.

PAT and ALAN KAHL.
You may have noticed from the letter heading that we have a new secretary - Gillian Graham. She has taken over from Pat Kahl who has been our
secretary since the Association began.
This change is due to Pat & Alan's move to Norfolk, and we wish them every happiness in their new home. We also send them our grateful
thanks for all their hard work, dedication and support since the Association was formed. Pat & Alan remain members and have said that whenever
possible they will attend future events, so it's definitely au revoir and not goodbye.

Our next event is the very popular Christmas Dinner Dance. Saturday 5th December 7pm for 7.30pm. "Special Delivery" will be providing
the live music to dance the night away.
Ticket prices are £22 members & £24 non-members.
