Hosting our Buxéens friends (residents of Boissy) at the end of May was another very successful visit. Two new members Tom & Kath
met Nadine & Pascal for the first time and enjoyed the weekend immensely. 100 guests enjoyed the Soirée evening and 40 managed to
gather early on Sunday morning to go to London on the coach and be tourists for the day! All too soon Monday morning arrived and after lots of
hugs, kisses & promises to meet in Boissy next year the coach took our friends back to France. It was agreed that everyone is looking
forward to next year's visit which will be on the 30th Anniversary of the Twinning Association.

Dates for your Diary -- Forthcoming Events
Our next popular event is the BBQ & Boule Afternoon. SUNDAY 11th September - 1pm. (BBQ lit at 12.30pm.) - Scout Hut, Roestock Park.
BBQ, Salads & Bread provided, just bring your own BBQ food to cook, utensils, plates, drinks, glasses etc. & during the afternoon there
will be the usual Boule competition for adults & children.

Our very popular Christmas Dinner Dance is Saturday 3rd December - Colney Heath School.
This year the live entertainment will be the popular local band The PUSH.

The 30th Anniversary Trip to Boissy St. Yon is the weekend 25th - 28th MAY 2012.
A Greyline Coach has been booked for next year and will be travelling via the Ferry on the outward journey and Shuttle/Tunnel on the return.

Larks in the Park again this year proved to be a great success. The weather was great and our skittle ally was very popular. The Hamper raffle prize
was won by Chris Joseph of Heath Side. There are also photo's on the website showing the winners of the Skittle & Boule competitions
